The Great North Run is the world's largest half Marathon, going from Newcastle to South Shields on the coast. It is recognised as one of the country's major sporting events.

The 13.1-mile course is comprised of four races; men, women, wheelchair and fun run. Which ever you decide; join CARE and be part of a unique experience.

How to apply:

Apply independently to The Great North Run for a ballot place.  To apply, please visit the Great North Run website for application details www.greatrun.org - If you are successful and wish to raise money for CARE, please contact us on the link below.

OR

CARE has a number of guaranteed Great North Run places. We request each ‘Gold Bond’ runner to initially send in £30.00 to guarantee a place and then raise a further £220.00 for CARE.
