City Teams sign up for 3 Peaks

The latest sign-ups for the CARE 3 Peaks Challenge supported by City AM are competitive colleagues from recruitment firm Nicoll Curtin.

On 12-13 September the team will take on Ben Nevis (1,334m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m) in a target of 24 hours.

Team leader Ann-Maree Williams saw the Challenge in City AM and decided to round up a team. “At Nicoll Curtin we’re always excited about new adventures and it’s definitely going to be a great experience. Our team’s hiking experience ranges from a little to hardly any so we will really have to rely on each other! But we’ll definitely be at the finish line.”

Team Nicoll Curtin join 12 teams from across the City- covering industries from accounting and finance to building and fashion. Funds raised from the event will support CARE International’s work to help people find a route out of poverty in 70 countries.

Says Ann-Maree, “We believe in helping people find better opportunities which is what CARE does on an enormous scale. It will also make it seem a little more sensible when we’re half way up our third mountain!”

 Places are still available and Ann-Maree welcomes any team willing to take them on. “Finance and Technology Recruitment is highly competitive and we’re used to being the best. We came 2nd in best companies to work for; we’re looking to come 1st in the 3 Peaks Challenge and welcome anyone who wants to give us a go!”

CARE challenge are an in-house charity fundraising team. We offer many exciting charity events that you can join. All our charity challenges offer amazing adventures outdoors and lots of our activities take place over adventure weekends.
