CARE New Media Adventure Challenge
Teams from across the New Media industry are teaming up for September’s CARE New Media Challenge supported by NMA.The challenge, on 4th September, takes place in Exmoor National Park and will see teams hike, bike and canoe a marathon distance in ten hours. All funds raised will support CARE’s work helping 59 million people in 70 countries find a route out of poverty.
Teams so far include Bunnyfoot, Audience Science, Marks and Spencer.com, Cool Pink, MSO.net, Focus Integrated and more- including two teams from NMA!
Rhys Nealon, Team Leader of an intrepid bunch from Bunnyfoot, says, “We always love a challenge! Our team always practices sports like cycling or snowboarding together anyway so a new location just adds to the excitement. We believe in helping a multitude of causes, regardless of religion or beliefs. There are so many in the world with so little. Being able to do something to help, however small, is a privilege…. Bring your team together in an exciting challenge that will not only be fun but will help those in need too. Get training and get fundraising!”
The event is supported by corporate partner IAB (Internet Advertising Bureau), the trade association for online advertising.
