Leading overseas development agency CARE International is laying down the gauntlet for professionals from the financial industry, in the shape of the CARE 24 Peaks Challenge on 26-27 June 2010. This is the ultimate UK Mountain Challenge: 24 Peaks in 24 hours!
On 20th June 2009, the Prima Solutions Adventure Challenge saw teams from across the fashion industry take on a remarkable triple challenge: hiking, biking and canoeing around the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales whilst raising valuable funds to support the poverty fighting work of CARE International.
The CARE 24 Peaks Challenge supported by Contract Journal took place on 30-31 May. Teams from across the industry took on 24 mountains in 24 hours, raising £40,000 to support the poverty fighting work of CARE International.
Teams from across the New Media Industry are signing up for a day of demanding outdoor challenges in the name of charity.
CARE International is offering the opportunity for biking enthusiasts to break the cycle of poverty and make the journey all the way from London to Paris.
The event will raise much needed funds for CARE’s work in helping 59 million people in nearly 70 countries find routes out of poverty.
