Four crosses man William Rowntree, 35, challenged himself for CARE International on 27-30 July, by taking part in the Skyline London to Paris Cycle Challenge. William raised over £1300 for the leading international aid and development agency.
Selhurst woman Lee Webster is challenging herself for a cause close to her heart, and will take part in the CARE London to Paris Cycle Challenge on 30 June- 3 July. The challenge will raise money for leading international aid and development agency CARE International, for whom Lee is a very passionate Campaigns Manager.

About the CARE London to Brighton Cycle Challenge:
Well done to our cyclists who are joined us on Saturday 18 May 2013 to cycle all 91 km/ 56 miles from city to coast. Helping us to raise funds for the world's poorest people.

Please register your interest for CARE's London to Brighton 2014 Cycle Challenge:
You will cycle out of Kingston and past the historic Hampton Court Palace. The route then winds through the Surrey countryside, undulates through the North Downs and into National Trust protected area. After a picnic lunch provided en-route, you cycle through the country lanes of Sussex, deep into the beautiful Leonard’s Forest.
Following the final refreshment stop, you will complete the last leg of the cycle ride over the South Downs and up the renowned Devil’s Dyke, which provides stunning views of the South Downs and Brighton.
The scenic route winds through idyllic country roads, avoiding main roads where possible and will be clearly arrowed. Marshals will be situated at key locations as well as guides cycling with you to ensure your safety throughout the day.
On our London to Brighton Cycle challenge you will receive:
- Marked route & directions
- Marshals on route
- Medics and support staff
- Third party event insurance from British Cycling
- 2 refreshment stops (refreshments will be provided at the first stop and lunch will be provided at the second stop)
- Celebration drink at the finish line
We ask each cyclist to pay a £30 registration fee and then fundraise to reach £150 in total. We will be on hand to support you at every stage of the challenge, from fundraising to training and completing the bike ride.
