CARE London to Brighton Cycle Challenge

18th April 2009

The CARE Challenge Series has partnered up with Tall Stories to offer a fantastic new event- the London to Brighton Cycle Challenge to raise funds for CARE International UK.

This challenge will see participants cycle all 73 miles from London to Brighton in a day, enjoying the idyllic countryside along the way.

Participants will cycle out of London via Hyde Park and Richmond Park. The route then winds past the spectacular Hampton Court Palace and into the scenic Surrey countryside.

London to BrightonCyclists will then continue through the picturesque North Downs, through National Trust land at Ranmore Common and south into Sussex. Continuing through the beautiful South Downs the route approaches Brighton via a final steep climb up the renowned Devil’s Dyke, rewarding cyclists with amazing views of the route they’ve covered over the South Downs and, ahead, a panorama of Brighton and the sea beyond.

A celebratory finish will await at Brighton Pier. Your efforts will not only gain you precious memories and a huge sense of achievement but also the knowledge that you’ve raised important funds for CARE international - there will be a lot to celebrate! The minimum fundraising for this event is £150 per participant - funds which will go a long way in helping CARE.
