The CARE 3 Peaks Challenge
If you're looking for a tough challenge then the CARE 3 Peaks is for you. Climb the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours! The CARE 3 Peaks Challenge is open to absolutely everyone - so get training.
Begin in Scotland on Saturday afternoon, where you and your team will take on the mighty Ben Nevis (1,334m). Then it’s down to the Lake District for an early morning ascent of Scafell Pike (978m). The final mountain is Snowdon (1,085m) in North Wales, to be tackled on Sunday afternoon. Return to a celebratory meal, and expend any remaining reserves of energy at the post-event party!
What’s included on the 3 Peaks Challenge?
- Event, safety and communications briefings at each mountain
- Radio per team
- Support staff, mountain guides and medics at designated points
- Post event celebration – a celebratory meal and prize giving on the Sunday night!
Why take part in the CARE 3 Peaks Challenge?
Not only is this a great team building challenge that will test your fitness, endurance and team spirit, but by taking part you will support CARE's life-saving work.
For example, CARE is providing emergency relief to people affected by the food crisis in East Africa. CARE is the main distributor of food, water and primary education at the largest refugee camp in the world in Kenya. Alongside our emergency relief, we are addressing the root causes of people’s poverty. This includes initiatives that help communities to diversify their livelihoods and working with people to improve farming techniques for drought resistant crops.
