The CARE Construction Challenge is the ultimate team building challenge for the construction and property industries. As a team, you’ll each cover a marathon on foot, bike and kayak.

The Challenge

You will start by running or walking the multi-terrain trail challenge that takes you through forest and heath, and winds its way to the stunning beach that forms Studland Bay. Here, you will complete the exhilarating sea kayaking challenge, heading out towards the Old Harry rocks and returning to the beach to complete the final leg of the trail route.

You’ll then switch over to bikes to cycle up and round the Jurassic Coast and along the mighty chalk cliffs. The route will provide you with stunning views of the bay, before you cycle back along the ridge back to the base.

You will be rewarded with a well-deserved meal and party at a nearby location after the challenge, where you can celebrate your achievements with your team members and other competitors.

For vulnerable families, a house can be their largest asset, and the loss of a house leaves them exposed to ill health, poor security, indignity and poverty.  Whether it’s providing emergency shelter for victims of natural disasters or war, building disaster resistant buildings, training communities in improved construction techniques or focusing on water and sanitation, your participation will help CARE to support the world’s poorest people. Pictured above right, CARE provided emergency shelter after floods devastated much of Pakistan. Pictured below right, CARE worked with communities to build transitional shelter following the earthquake in Haiti in 2010.

You’ll be required to work together to prepare for, fundraise and compete the tough but rewarding challenge, making this a great team-building event. You’ll also go head-to-head with other teams from the industry making this the perfect challenge for you and your colleagues.
