CARE Egypt Challenge
We have teamed up with CARE Egypt to offer an exciting hiking challenge in Egypt from 22 - 25 October 2010.

The challenge will take place around St Catherine’s, situated in the heart of the Sinai Peninsula. The area is sacred to three world religions: Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Due to its natural and cultural significance, the region has UNESCO World Heritage status.
Over 3 days you will tackle 3 mountains - each home to numerous archaeological and religious sites and monuments. This includes Mt Catherine, the highest mountain in Egypt, where at the summit you will be rewarded with stunning views of the whole of the Sinai.
The funds that you raise will support a number of projects including a local Egyptian project managed by CARE Egypt to improve women's rights.
You will be supported at every stage of the challenge: from pre-event preparation, training and fundraising advice, to event support, including an experienced events team and guides on hand to help.
The fundraising target of £1,500 includes transport to and from Cairo and refreshments & food for the duration of the event. Flights are not included but we will support you with all logistics.
The challenge will be co-run by the CARE challenge teams in UK and Egypt – we don’t employ any agencies so more of your money goes directly to the causes.
Follow in the footsteps of prophets, saints, pilgrims and warriors, and enjoy Egypt’s cultural heritage, captivating views and rugged mountainous terrain.
Register your interest in the CARE Egypt Challenge above, and we will email you an itinerary.
Challenge Yourself. Challenge Poverty.
