Charity Cycling

The joy of success!
There are two wonderful opportunities to pedal your way to success with CARE’s charity cycling events. What better reason to dust off the old bike and get training than to cross that finish line knowing you’re helping some of the poorest people in the world find a route out of poverty?

The first event, taking place on 10th April, is the increasingly popular CARE London to Brighton Charity Cycle . This challenge will see participants cycle all 91km from London to Brighton in a day, enjoying the idyllic countryside along the way and a celebratory finish at Brighton Pier.

The minimum fundraising for this charity cycle is an easily achievable £150 per participant- and as a one-day event this is perfect for those with very hectic lifestyles who want to take a day to make a difference.

And for those with a bit more pedal-power, the CARE London to Paris Charity Cycle presents a fabulous opportunity to cycle from one capital city to another in 3 days, taking in the sights and sounds along the way. After achieving an impressive 240 miles in 3 days and a fundraising target of £1300, you’ll enjoy an unrivalled sense of achievement on reaching Paris. Knowing the difference you’ll be making to CARE’s work overseas will make your lap of honour around the aptly-name Arc de Triomphe truly significant.

Like all CARE Challenge participants, as a Challenge cyclist you will be supported throughout your fundraising and training and, of course, throughout the event itself by the experienced CARE Challenge Team.

The beauty of the CARE charity cycling events is that you don’t need to round up a team to take part- individuals from every sector and anywhere are more than welcome. So you can get a group of adventurous friends together and take part in this charity cycle together if you wish, or go it alone knowing you’ll be amongst likeminded individuals in a wonderful setting. What a great way to meet new people, offer yourself a fantastic incentive for your training, and achieve something amazing.
