Whether you're running a 5k, 10k or a marathon, we'll be with you every step of the way.

As a member of the CARE Running team you will receive:

* Great support from the moment you register right up until race day
* Fundraising and training support
* A point of contact within the team to answer any questions
* A fundraising pack and a CARE t-shirt

Meet Catherine Needham (pictured below) who used her own place in the Berlin Marathon 2011 to raise funds for CARE.

"I participated in my first marathon in Berlin on the 25th September 2011, with all sponsorship proceeds donated to CARE International.

What was my main criterion when choosing a charity to raise money for? Well, it had to align with my main values and priorities. CARE International did just that with its focus on developing sustainable solutions to poverty across the world and, in particular, its work empowering women to affect real change on their local communities. A real incentive when heaviness in my legs started to set in.

The atmosphere on the day in Berlin was incredible, and much more fun then I had expected with live music and supporters covering the whole 42km. I came in at 4 hours and 8 minutes, not quite achieving below that magical 4 hour mark but leaving room for improvement for next time!" - Thank you so much to Catherine for raising a fantastic £600 for CARE.
